This photo i like a lot because of the lighting of the photo, its dark but yet it’s also light. I also like the rule of third in this shes not in the dead center in the picture and i think that adds a lot to this photo. and i also like it because of the background and how shes imatating the michal jackson in the photo. and its also a good photo because im looking down on her rather that straight foward or up at her.

i like this photo because it blurred in some spots. and im using rule of thirds in this shot also so it makes it a more intersting photo rather than boring if she was in the dead center. i also like how the top lights are kinda like a leading line in a way and they blurr the farther you get back, which i think is cool. and i also just love her face in this its so funny to look at.

It was kinda hard because you would not have many ideas on how to take the portrait and it was hard to get a quality photo.

 2. What makes a ‘good” portrait? Give examples.

It interesting and not blurry and it gets attention when someone is looking at it.

 3.  Were you able to enhance your photos in Photoshop?   What tools worked best?  Give examples-

i was able to enhance my photos and the tool that worked best was contrast. because my photos were very light.

 4.  How did the weather affect your shots?  Is it better to shoot photos on days we have direct sunlight or cloudy days? Why?

the weather made my shots very light, too light to be exact. and a better day to shoot i guess would depend on the type of photos you like and your style because i like shooting in both sun and cloudy weather.

 5. Why do we take portraits as a society?  Examples?

we take portraits of society for memories like senior photos, or for the paper to show whats going on around us, but i think we take them mostly for memories because everytime you look at them you think of what happened when those portraits were taken.
